Typically, the standard opening for barn end doors is 12 - 14' wide, split between the two doors.

What are common types of barn doors?
Traditional barn end doors are sliding doors installed on a track and roller system. Barn end doors can be designed with a dutch pattern, dutch and glass, steel frame and wood fill, or solid steel.
Stall exterior doors are traditionally double dutch with a double crossbuck design. This design allows sunlight and fresh air. Both the top and bottom panel are hinged and can be opened.
